To seal off air leaks, you must first find them. Look in the obvious places: around windows and doors. To test for leaks, close a piece of paper between the pane and the sill. Touch-A-Truck is spearheaded by Max’s Ring of Fire, a public charity funding and advocating for innovative neuroblastoma research and studies. Founded by Andy and Melissa Mikulak, Max’s Ring of Fire honors their late son, Max—who courageously battled cancer until the age of seven. This year’s Touch-A-Truck event was held on June 4 at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego. The 2011 event team welcomed over 4600 guests, and raised over $45,000 for neuroblastoma research, advocacy and patient care!

Activities included food and beverage stands, stage performances and dozens of hot rods, construction vehicle and military/public safety vehicle displays. Children attending had the chance to climb on and in the vehicles, as well as honk the horns and meet their hometown heroes.
